Wanted to revisit some old shader work I'd done years ago and apply an updated version to an updated environment.
Everything was started from scratch with the original shaders and environment being my concept.
The main master material consists of many parameters controlling snow, including the ability to vert paint out where snow buildup occurs.
Most assets contain tint masks to get color variation out of multiple instances used within the map.
Snow buildup and snowfall, as well as the scene's lighting, is controlled through blueprints cued on button presses.
Also worked on a vintage style post process, included in one of the videos.
The environment itself may get a re-visit, but I thought I'd take a break here to show off my focus point.
Everything with the exception of tree leaf textures have been created from scratch using Blender, Designer and Painter.
